With DFW relocation, Brinker puts longtime Dallas headquarters on the market

With Dallas-based Brinker International Inc. (NYSE: EAT) moving its North Texas headquarters to The Sound at Cypress Waters, the casual dining restaurant group plans to put its long-owned Dallas campus along the LBJ Express on the market.

The company's campus includes a four-story, 110,000-square-foot office building has an adjacent three-story covered parking garage that sits on 7.5 acres of land at 6820 LBJ Freeway in North Dallas.
Brinker International — the company behind Chili's Grill & Bar and Maggiano's Little Italy — has hired Cushman & Wakefield to market the campus.

Ever since the completion of the LBJ Express, property values in the area have risen dramatically, said Maureen Kelly Cooper, senior managing director at Cushman & Wakefield's Dallas office.

"The corridor between Hillcrest Road and the Dallas North Tollway is seeing a burst of activity, with major renovation and development projects underway, including Lincoln Centre, the Galleria and Midtown," said Cooper, in a statement.

Cooper, Rick Hughes and Robbie Baty of Cushman & Wakefield will oversee the marketing of the campus, which Brinker International has been in since 1983.
