Dallas Cowboys filling up six floors of space at The Star office building in Frisco

The biggest new office project on the way in Frisco may already be mostly spoken for with tenants.
The six-story, 400,000-square-foot building is part of the Dallas Cowboys’ huge Star development on Warren Parkway.
Along with housing the football club’s corporate offices, the building will have several floors of additional office space to rent to outside tenants.
During a tour of the construction site a couple of weeks ago, Charlotte Jones Anderson, executive vice president for the Cowboys, told a group from The Dallas Morning News that leasing of the office building is “almost at capacity.”
The building overlooks the Cowboys’ new practice field and is connected to the team’s new training facilities. It’s across a large plaza from the new Omni Hotel that’s being built as part of the Star development.
So far the Cowboys aren’t saying what outside companies have reserved office space in their new building, which opens in late summer.
“Leasing for the corporate space at headquarters is going really well, but unfortunately we have nothing to publicly disclose at this point,” a spokesman for the team said in an email.
But if the largest block of office space in Frisco is already substantially preleased, that should give impetus to more development in the area.
