Big industrial project opens in southern Dallas County

Construction is finished on one of the largest speculative warehouse projects in North Texas.
Atlanta-based Seefried Properties and USAA Real Estate built the big industrial project in the Southfield Park 35 business park in DeSoto. The 1.13 million-square-foot warehouse is located on 64 acres near Danieldale Road at Old Hickory Trail south of Interstate 20.
Seefried is developing the 157-acre industrial campus in partnership with USAA and it is planned for more than 2.3 million square feet.
Richardson-based Alliance Architects Inc. designed the warehouse.
The area along Interstates 20 and 45 in southern Dallas County is the busiest warehouse building district in North Texas.
