Southlake mixed-use project kicks off hotel construction

Developers are kicking off work on a new mixed-use project in Southlake with construction of a hotel.
Filmore Capital Partners and Medici Development Partners are building the Kimball Park project at State Highway 114 and Kimball Avenue in Southlake.
Construction is starting on a 175-room Cambria Hotel and Suites in the development.
The hotel will open next year and is the second location in Texas for the new Choice Hotels International lodging brand.
As one of only two properties in Southlake, Texas with lodging, office, restaurant and retail options, there is little doubt Kimball Park will quickly become one of the area’s premier destinations,” Ron Silva, president and CEO of Fillmore Capital Partners, said in a statement.
Kimball Park also includes 115,000 square feet of offices, three restaurants and retail space. And there is more than three acquires of park space.
