Huge apartment community coming in North Dallas’ Midtown ParkEm

Midtown Park was started almost a decade ago near
North Central Expressway.

A San Antonio developer has filed plans for what will be the biggest project yet in the Midtown Park community in North Dallas.

Embrey Partners plans to build 16 apartment buildings with almost 400 rental units along Manderville Lane, just east of North Central Expressway.
The almost 18 acre project will occupy several large vacant tracts located between North Central and DART’s commuter rail line.
The 80-acre Midtown Park project was started a decade ago when developers bought up thousands of old apartments in the neighborhood north of Presbyterian Hospital.
Embrey Partners' development side is just
east of U.S. Highway 75 and South of
Royal Lane.
After clearing the land and rezoning the property, the original owners lost the high-profile property during the recession.
Kroenke Holdings of Missouri and Provident Realty bought the vacant blocks in December 2011 after a foreclosure.
Since then the owners have been selling off the real estate for a variety of developments, including townhouses, medical office, seniors housing and rental units.
Midtown Park was previously zoned for a construction of almost 4,000 apartments, 500,000 square feet of retail space and 1.25 million square feet of office space. It’s one of the largest empty development tracts in the North Central corridor.
