Investment firm opens new Irving office; with plans to buy real estate

Newport, California-based alternative investment firm Isles Ranch Partners LLC has opened a new office in Irving in hope of landing new residential investment opportunities in Texas and throughout the nation.

The investment firm has hired Aimee Martin as its new managing director.

"Aimee's strong reputation and deep network of industry contacts, combined with the opening of a new Dallas office, furthers our goal of deepening IRP's presence in Texas," Managing Partner Neal Johnson said in a prepared statement.

Prior to Isles Ranch Partners, Martin led the originations and asset management for a variety of residential land investments, including Rockpoint Finance Fund. She also has experience with Meritage Homes Corp. and Terrabrook.

Isles Ranch Partners also hired Eric Koff as the firm's director of real estate operations in California to oversee all existing investments in the United States.

The details of Martin's strategy in North Texas were not immediately available Tuesday morning, but the company said it focuses on real estate ranging from $5 million to $30 million. The new office is at 222 W. Las Colinas Blvd. in Irving.
