Apartment developer Trinsic Residential Group has started work on its third major rental community in Dallas’ Oak Lawn neighborhood.
Trinsic is building the 387-unit Aura Cedar project at Cedar Springs Road and the Dallas North Tollway.
The apartments will replace old rental units that were on the property.
“We’ve demolished the site and should be starting the parking garage in the next 45 to 60 days,” said Trinsic managing director Adam Brown.
The apartments should be ready by next spring.
The 4-story, urban-style rental units are just blocks from where Trinsic built its Aura Wycliff apartments at Wycliff and the tollway. The Dallas-based developer also built a large project in the nearby medical district.
“We like that area – it’s been good to us,” Brown said. “The visibility with this next project will be great.
“You’ll be able to see it from the tollroad.”
Trinsic was started in 2011 and has under construction more than 5,000 apartments valued at more than $750 million.
