Investor buys Addison office and industrial buildings

A Kansas City-based real estate investor, Copaken Brooks, said Tuesday that it has purchased two office and industrial buildings in Addison.
The properties are located at 4555 Excel Parkway and 16750 Westgrove Road in the Addison Tech Center.
Copaken Brooks already owned the other buildings in the project.
Addison Tech Center has four buildings with about 228,400 square feet of space.
The property is fully leased with tenants including Porter Lighting, Signature Floors, Southwest Solutions Group, Authentix, Lone Star Aerospace, Cantex Continuing Care, Clinical Pathology Laboratory, Contemporary Research and ThyssenKrupp Elevator.
This purchase at Addison Tech Center was sponsored by Copaken Brooks Private Capital.
“We are extremely happy to expand our investment in the Addison Market,” Troy Marquis, Chief Investment Officer for Copaken Brooks, said in a statement.  “The Addison location offers a strong commercial environment, with excellent access off the North Dallas Tollway and an outstanding tenant roster.”
Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
