Investors pick up two North Texas apartment properties
Two different investors have purchased two North Texas apartment properties — one in Fort Worth and one in Greenville — for undisclosed sums.
An anonymous Plano investor has purchased Oakwood Apartments, a 216-unit complex at 6351 Vega Drive in Fort Worth, while an out-of-town investor has purchased Hacienda Villa Apartments, a 100-unit complex at 1600 Joe Ramsey Blvd. North in Greenville. Each property was purchased through Auction.com.
The properties received significant interest from potential investors through the auction format, said Mark Freeman, senior vice president at Colliers International.
"This showcases the continued strength of the multifamily market, as well as illustrates the growing interest and demand for apartment deals in tertiary markets around the Dallas-Fort Worth area," Freeman said in a written statement.
Freeman and Bob Helterbran of Colliers International marketed the properties, fielding hundreds of inquiries from potential buyers.
