PwC looking at downtown and Uptown Dallas office markets for possible move

Another big downtown Dallas office tenant is in play -  a deal that could kick off a new building or fill up one already in the works.

PricewaterhouseCoopers LLC is scouting the Uptown and downtown markets for almost 150,000 square feet of office space, real estate brokers say.

The international accounting firm now has its regional office in the Trammell Crow Center on Ross Avenue.

With several years left on its lease, PwC may decide to stay put.

But brokers say that the big service firm is also talking to developers of new projects about relocating.

The lease is big enough that it could kick off another Uptown building.

Office rents are rising sharply in central Dallas and brokers say that PwC would like to lock in a longterm deal.

Crescent Real Estate’s new McKinney & Olive tower, a building planned by Harwood International and Trammell Crow’s new project at Pearl Street and Woodall Rodgers Freeway are all on PwC’s shopping list, brokers say.
