More Development in Houston's Downtown

Crescent Bringing 600,000 SF of Office Space to Downtown Houston

HOUSTON (Houston Chronicle) – Crescent Real Estate Holdings is developing a 30-story office tower on the east side of downtown.
The $250 million project is the latest in an area where developers are proposing more than seven million sf of new or renovated space.
Designed by HKS Architects, the 600,000-sf 6 Houston Center will be on the block bounded by Rusk, Caroline, Walker and San Jacinto.
A 15-foot-tall glass skybridge will connect the building to LyondellBassell Tower, or 1 Houston Center, giving the new skyscraper access to the downtown tunnel system.
Annual rents are expected to range between $34 and $37 per sf.
Crescent expects to break ground this summer. The building could be ready for tenants by the end of 2016.
