New Carrollton industrial project targets small and mid-sized firms

Developers in recent months have broken ground on several large new warehouses to meet growing business demand in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Most of those projects have been targeted at the biggest industrial tenants.
But a development planned for Carrollton is instead aimed at small and mid-sized warehouse tenants that are looking to grow in North Texas.
ML Realty Partners and Frontier Equity are teaming up for the 15.5-acre industrial project at the corner of West Crosby Road and Hutton Drive near State Highway 190.
“This location is one of the last available sites in Valwood,” one of the Dallas-area’s most popular warehouse districts, said Jim Brice, the partner with Holt Lunsford Commercial who is marketing the project. “There hasn’t been a lot of this built and it’s a product that’s in demand.”
The planned Cosby Trade Center will have two buildings totaling 296,140 and will be targeted at tenants starting at 9,600 square feet.
