The rush to meet demand for industrial space in North Texas is heating up with another large project starting.
This one is north of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport in Lewisville.
Majestic Realty Co. has broken ground for a 1.02 million-square-foot speculative warehouse and distribution building in its Majestic Airport Center DFW business park.
Majestic is building the big industrial project in partnership with Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance.
“We have great confidence in the D-FW and the Texas economies,” said Majestic Realty director of development Al Sorrels. “We have had great success with the previous 1.34 million square feet in the park with Kellogg’s taking our previous 1,020,000 square-foot building.
