Home sellers fret about less buyer frenzy as housing market cools

Is the bloom off the rose?
After a crazy summer of home buying and selling Dallas-area real estate agents say there’s a chill in the area with slower buyer traffic and fewer bidding wars for property.
And a new report by California-based finds that home seller enthusiasm towrd the market is waning in many U.S. markets.
The number of home sellers who think it’s a good time to peddle their property fell from about half of those surveyed at mid year to about a third of respondents in the third quarter.
And 43 percent of sellers said that buyer interest in their property has been less than expected.
