Dallas-based investor and developer Leon Capital Group has bought 12 acres in Las Colinas for a new shopping center.
The tract at President George Bush Turnpike and North MacArthur Boulevard is being marketed to a gourmet grocer and other tenants.
The developer hopes to start construction on the project late next year.
“This has been a highly coveted site for many years,” Will Tolliver, director of retail operations for Leon Capital Group, said. “We are talking to a wide variety of retailers that have looked for locations in Las Colinas for some time.
