A fast-growing Austin commercial property investor is trying to purchase one of downtown Dallas’ office skyscrapers.
World Class Capital Group is seeking to buy the 34-story KPMG Centre tower at N. 717 Harwood Street, real estate brokers say.
The 33-year-old office high-rise has been owned by lenders since last year.
Irving-based C-III Capital Partners and the Dallas office of HFF LP have been marketing the 850,000-square-foot bronze-glass tower to potential buyers.
The skyscraper – which has significant vacancy and is about to lose more major tenants – is one of a handful of large Dallas office projects currently up for grabs.
