Trader Joe's is Coming to Inwood Village Shopping Center

The opening of Dallas’ first Trader Joe’s grocery store is only about a week away.

And the hugely popular specialty supermarket is already zeroing in on another Dallas location.

Trader Joe’s has decided to put a store in Dallas’ landmark Inwood Village shopping center on Lovers Lane, tenants in the retail center and property brokers who work that area say.

The new location will go at the east end of the shopping center where the Casa Rosa restaurant and other tenants used to be. Construction crews are already revamping that area of the center for the addition of Trader Joe’s.

Trader Joe’s is set to open the doors on August 9 at its location on Lower Greenville Avenue in East Dallas.

The popular West Coast-based grocery chain opened its first Dallas-area store last September in Plano.

Trader Joe’s has announced plans for another Dallas store in the Preston Hollow Village shopping center on Walnut Hill Lane.

And the grocer has agreed to anchor a new mixed-use development planned in Dallas’ Knox Street district.

The Inwood Village location would be Trader Joe’s fourth Dallas outlet inside the LBJ Freeway loop.
