New report: Dallas-area Office Rents Heading Higher

Dallas-area office tenants are going to have to dig a little deeper to pay the rents.
A new report by CoStar Group puts Big D on the list of major U.S. markets that’s seeing office rent rises this year.
The Dallas-area ranked fifth among the major cities that saw year-over-year average rental rate increases in the second quarter, according to CoStar.
While the overall 2.6 percent annual office rent rise may not seem like much, local property brokers say the increases are much higher in prime office districts including Uptown, West Plano and Preston Center.
