Jacobs Engineering Makes its Planned Move to Downtown Dallas

California-based Jacobs Engineering has completed the move of its Dallas regional office into downtown’s 36-story Harwood Center.

New York-based Fortis Property Group owns the office tower at Bryan and Harwood streets.
Jacobs is bringing more than 350 of its employees to the downtown skyscraper over the next two years.

The 81,000-square-foot lease is one of the largest by a company moving into downtown Dallas in recent years. Harwood Center is now more than 80 percent leased.

“There’s a real interest in the downtown area from companies such as Jacobs Engineering, that see the value of the DART rail, the nearby Arts District and the momentum of the central business district,” Fortis CEO Jonathan Landau said in a statement.
