Downtown Dallas’ Landmark Brewery Building Has Attracted Interest From a Developer

Provident Realty Advisors – the Dallas-based commercial real estate developer and investor that is doing the big Preston Hollow Village project in North Dallas – is looking at a landmark downtown building.
The 4-story building Brewery Building at Continental and Houston streets was built in 1890 for the Dallas Brewing Co.’s beer making facility.
After decades of industrial and manufacturing uses, in 1983, the building was remodeled for a combination of retail and office space.
The property for years was home of the now defunct Newport’s restaurant and also housed the now-legendary Starck Club which closed in 1989.
Now The Brewery is right across the street from the Victory Park development and The House condo tower.
Real estate brokers who are tracking the deal say Provident Realty and its investment partners intend to acquire and redevelop the storied property.
