Atlanta Developer Complete Victory Park Land Buy for Apartment Tower

Atlanta developer Novare Group has closed its purchase of land in Dallas’ Victory Park project for a new high-rise apartment project.
The developer plans to build a 24-story, 336-unit luxury rental project that’s almost identical to a building the company is constructing in Houston.

The 1.7-acre development site on Woodall Rodgers Freeway is between the new Perot Museum of Nature and Science and the House of Blues. The property was sold by an affiliate of developer Hillwood.
The planned Woodall Rodgers project in Uptown is one of several apartment towers under development in Dallas.
Novare Group is building the Dallas project in partnership with Batson-Cook Development Co. and  Simpson Housing LLLP.
A spokesman for Novare Group said the project – called SkyHouse Dallas – is financed and will proceed.  U.S. Bank is providing construction financing.
The building is planned to open in late 2014.
