Developers want to build more than 150 apartments on top of an Uptown parking garage.
Investor Spyglass Equities is seeking city approval to construct the nine-story apartment building on top of an existing three-story parking garage at Cedar Springs Road and Olive Street.
The proposed brick and glass high-rise would be next door to the 11-story 1999 McKinney Lofts condo tower. And it’s across the street from where Crescent Real Estate plans to build an office, retail and residential development on a vacant block.
Architecture firm Good Fulton & Farrell designed Spyglass Equities’ planned apartment tower.
The Dallas-based real estate investor purchased the garage several years ago and has looked at multiple development plans for the property.
