Another Major Corporation Moves to Downtown

Cushman & Wakefield has announced the move of their Dallas Branch Office to Downtown at Rosewood Court.  The company will take 24,000 square feet on the 9th floor and has signed a 10-year lease. The Dallas branch includes more than 100 in-house employees.  Rosewood Court is located at 2101 Cedar Springs Road, in the Uptown District.
Cushman & Wakefield is one of Dallas’ premier commercial real estate services firms, the world’s largest privately-held.  Founded in 1917, the company has 231 offices in 58 countries and employs more than 13,000.
“A Dallas address was extremely important for us going forward and with the business climate and vibrancy of the marketplace in Uptown, it was a perfect fit for our future strategy,” said Elizabeth Trocchio, C&W Executive Vice President – Area Leader and manager of the Dallas branch.
“2010 is certainly starting out as a great year for Downtown,” said John F. Crawford, President & CEO of Downtown Dallas, Inc. “In fact, the Cushman & Wakefield announcement is the second major relocation to occur in just one week.  The important precedent that this sets, particularly with such a prestigious and active real estate firm as Cushman & Wakefield, is critical in demonstrating that Downtown is once again a premier office address.
