Another big warehouse development for south Dallas County

Another major industrial building project is on the way in southern Dallas County.
Richardson-based Alliance Architects Inc. says its been hired to design an almost 350,000-square-foot distribution center in Wilmer.
The project will be developed on a 24-acre site in Sunridge Business Park near Interstate 45.
Skyhawk Partners is developing the Interpoint Distribution Center next to Union Pacific's Dallas Intermodal Terminal.
"The South Dallas submarket has experienced remarkable growth and absorption in recent years," Peter Billipp, founder of Skyhawk Partners, said in a statement.
The area along interstates 20 and 45 in Dallas, Lancaster, Wilmer and Hutchins has been the fastest-growing industrial market in North Texas in recent years.
Major companies including Procter & Gamble, Quaker Oats, Ace Hardware, BMW and L'Oreal USA have set up large shipping and warehousing operations in the area.
